Modern mudguards often barely cover you from dirt but these cover a large portion of the wheels which means total protection from mud and water. They have improved protected ends to withstand the bike being dropped of bashed into walls etc. and double stainless steel v-stays means more rigidity for the mudguard while last twice as long from the weather.
